Review of Shifting Sands

I’m really pleased to see a new review of my book in the journal Literary Geographies – it seems like the natural home for it, and I’m happy to see the book still circulating almost three years after it was published.

The Shifting Sands of the North Sea Lowlands : Literary and Historical Imaginaries book cover

You can read the review here: https://www.literarygeographies.net/index.php/LitGeogs/article/view/273

Hi Katie, I am a lecturer of literature and creative writing at University Centre Peterborough and I am writing a module ‘Lowlands Away: Towards a Fenland Literary Canon’ which will be a mix of critical and creative study and your book will be on the course list. It won’t run for a few years yet, but it’s in the works. I hope to be in touch nearer the time to run a conference on the subject.

    All best wishes,

    Andrew McDonnell
